Developed using proprietary chemistry, this dry-powder alkali-activated binder reduces carbon emissions while delivering the same strength and durability as traditional cement.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Composed of 90% recycled materials (blast furnace slag & fly ash).

  • Meets industry standards for strength and durability.

  • Seamless integration into existing concrete batching systems (available in bulk or bags).

  • Low-carbon production process with minimal emissions.

  • Low water demand

APPLICATIONS:

  • Residential & Commercial Construction

  • Infrastructure & Large-Scale Projects

  • Precast Concrete Products (pipes, masonry, etc.)

  • Government & Environmental Initiatives

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • UniqueCem has an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in preparation. This will facilitate its use in sustainable building applications worldwide.

  • Compliance to provisions of AS TS 199:2023 Design of geopolymer and alkali-activated binder concrete structures and ASTM C1157 Standard Performance Specification for Hydraulic Cement.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

Uniquecem LCC demonstrates strong performance across a range of key concrete properties.

When compared to the requirements in SA TS 199:2023 Design of geopolymer and alkali-activated binder concrete, Uniquecem LCC shows compliance with all provisions allowing for its use in environmentally friendly concrete applications ( see Table opposite).

Uniquecem LCC has been further tested in the USA against the provisions of ASTM C1157-08a Standard Performance Specification for Hydraulic Cement. This testing has demonstrated full compliance with all mandated provisions allowing for use in concrete specified using ASTM standards.
